Summary: Performs grass cutting, lawn care and other grounds maintenance at City owned/operated facilities. Work Hours: This position will work a designated schedule established by the Department Head. It is also expected this position will work other hours including nights, weekends and/or holidays and/or in adverse weather conditions as necessary or requested in order to fulfill the City's vision and/or to accomplish departmental goals. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, applicants should be able to perform each essential duty in an efficient, effective and safe manner. The duties listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. Essential Duties : Include, but are not limited to the following.Cuts and trims grass using various fuel and hand held tools and equipment.Picks up and discards tree branches, debris and/or items. Education/Experience: Previous experience performing similar duties desired.
