About this role We are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our Design Build team at our Burnaby office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team. If you love being part of building some of the most meaningful and needed Hospital projects in British Columbia then this is the position for you! Come be part of the team building large complex multi-year healthcare facilities for our communities! You will be in a leadership role on a team of up to 250 people pursuing, designing, planning, and executing Electrical and Technology project scopes. This role is best suited for those with skills in project management, leadership and design of electrical and technology systems. If you thrive on working in high performing teams with design professionals and field personnel, we'd love to hear from you! Your responsibilities Assist/Lead the pursuit of large design build projects Control the time, cost and quality of construction projects Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions Manage project financial performance Work with the foreman and superintendent as a team to review the project documents and discuss labour requirements and staffing Your experience and skills Minimum 7 years of previous project management experience in a related industry Demonstrated experience completing multiple projects from start-up to close out High school Diploma & Electrical TQ or Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent Training or Courses in Project Management Proficient in.
