Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Charleston, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess superior writing and analytical capabilities, with a preference for a federal clerkship background and experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing. The position entails meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale. Duties:Participate in complex commercial litigation cases on a national scale.Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Assist with discovery, including Electronic Discovery processes.Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy development.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Manage case files and documentation efficiently.Stay updated on relevant legal developments and precedents. Requirements:Federal clerkship background strongly preferred.Distinguished academic record.Superior writing and analytical capabilities.Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.Valid law license required. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Valid law license in good standing. Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.Proficiency in Electronic Discovery processes.Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.
