The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building and expanding the existing tax practice, with significant client interaction and the opportunity for long-term leadership. They should possess excellent academic credentials, strong writing, and analytical abilities, as well as a Juris Doctorate or better in Law. The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in estate planning. Job Overview:Contribute to the growth and development of the tax practice.Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.Take on increasing levels of responsibility within the firm. Duties:Provide legal counsel and guidance on tax matters, particularly in estate planning.Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases.Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and estate plans.Assist clients with tax planning and compliance.Represent clients in tax disputes and litigation, if necessary.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations. Requirements:Juris Doctorate or better in Law.5+ years of relevant experience in estate planning.Admission to the State Bar (or ability to gain admission).Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients. Skills:Excellent writing and analytical skills.Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong organizational and time management skills.Collaborative and team-oriented attitude.
