Ensuring that components meet the drawing specification and quality standards. Daily maintenance of equipment. Reading micrometres. Ability to work to and maintain strict timescales efficiently. Use of lifting equipment including slinging experience/Overhead Crane/Forklift. Keen to speak Centreless Grinder’s : Ability to utilise metric and imperial measuring equipment. Preparing various metal components to precise and accurate tolerances, upholding attention to detail. Use a variety of methods including use of bandsaws to cut macro. test pieces and ultrasound discards from metal components to ensure orders are free from discrepancies.
