Quality Engineer/Source Inspector We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer/Source Inspector for our facility in Cambridge, ON. JOB PURPOSE: In support of the business, a focused Quality Assurance team implements and supports a world class QA system, compliant with the latest Canadian and International QA Standards. The incumbent will perform inspections, tests, surveillance and audits at suppliers' plants both remotely and physically including visual, dimensional and documentation requirements. ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Revising and maintaining procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with regulatory governing standards and customer requirements; • Maintaining quality management system processes; vendor management control, document and record control; • Develop process improvement plans using a variety of Quality and Continuous Process Improvement tools, including but not limited to, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, SPC, Engineering studies, DOE, Gauge R&R, etc. • Support continuous product and process improvement.
