Responsibilities: As a Site Engineer for the HS2 project in Birmingham, you will: Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and contractors to ensure successful project execution. Oversee and supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct site surveys, backssments, and measurements to ensure accurate project progress tracking. Implement quality control measures to ensure construction work meets industry standards and specifications. Provide technical support and guidance to on: site teams, resolving any technical issues that may arise during construction. Manage and maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and health and safety records. Ensure effective communication and coordination between various stakeholders involved in the project. Requirements: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on large: scale infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards. Proficiency in using industry: standard software and tools for design, measurement, and documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration among multidisciplinary teams. Problem: solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges on: site. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
