You'll have the chance to put your skills to the test, ensuring that products conform to business requirements/company policies, software quality standards, and established procedures and confirming that testable systems are specified, designed and implementedWe're looking for candidates with 7-10 years of experience, preferably with an Electronics BSEE or similar degree. Overview of your day-to-day Ensure that software and firmware products conform to business requirements/company policies, software quality standards, and established procedures Confirm that testable systems are specified, designed and implemented Create the SQA project toolkit (e.g. templates for requirements traceability, test plans, cycles, cases, scripts and standardized reports, such as a root-cause bug report and a test execution progress report) Develop automated regression test suites using automated testing tools Design, documents and implements procedures and techniques that are consistent with departmental SQA Methodology for analyzing, testing, and evaluating the risk (software & business), accuracy, completeness, internal integrity/consistency, testability and overall quality of business systems and SDLC processes Recommend and assist in corrective actions taken at all stages of product life Submit and track production (maintenance) and release issues in their respective systems What qualifies you? We're looking for a professional with leadership skills and a knack for solving problems. Applicants must meet the following criteria: BS degree in information systems, computer science, or related field 5-7 year's industry experience as a software quality assurance engineer Formalized review process for design phases including requirements, design, coding and unit testing Conducting unit testing utilizing robust testing methodologies Verification of requirements traceability Configuration management of software/firmware Background in defense SQA: Familiar with software safety standards in FAA (DO-178B), UK (Def Std 0056), USAF (Mil-Std-882) Hands on experience in automation and good understanding of automation testing strategies and tools.
