We are committed to maintaining a safe, diverse, and welcoming workplace for all.----Job Title: Production Super Lead FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Production--SUMMARY:The Production Sr. Lead is responsible for carrying out daily and weekly production plans. Primary responsibility is hitting quality, yield, and productivity targets as follows:Monitoring of Production flow and finished product manufacturingContinuously work with Plant Manager/Operation Manager to improve yields, efficiencies, and product qualityMaintain communication with Lead personnelSupports movement of personnel between departmentsApproximately 75% of the time on floor supervision--ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES: Supervise, lead and train line leads and hourly staff in the area of production requirements, quality of products, operation of equipment and safety.Responsible for ensuring all company policies, procedures and programs are followed.Documents performance issues of employees Communicates any change in process, policy or procedure to line leads and hourly staff.Makes hiring and separation decision.Oversee product flow through the production processReview Daily productivity, yield reports, and InventoryManage production line employees through Lead interactionSupport Line lead personnel in day-to-day operation and adhere to production planObserve product for quality, defects, and adherence to customer specificationsMaintain a safe and sanitary work area and balance personnel throughout production processInterpret and comply with company policies and proceduresProvide leadership, support, supervision, and training for all employeesConfirm finished goods packed correctlyAssist Leads with recording attendanceCommunicates with Maintenance, Management, QA, and Shipping/Receiving staffReports to Production Supervisor--OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:Bilingual a plusEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Minimum 2 years Line Leader or QA experience in the food industryKnowledge of food manufacturing processes, procedures, and specificationsKnowledge of basic mathOral and written communications skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Amount of TimeUnder 1/3To OverNone 1/3 2/3 2/3Stand -______-______-______-___x_-Walk -______-______-______-___x_-Sit -______-___x__-______-_____-Usehandstofinger,handle,orfeel -______-______-______-__x__-Reachwithhandsandarms -______-______-______-__x__-Climborbalance -______-___x__-______-_____-Stoop,kneel,crouch,orcrawl -______-___x__-______-_____-This job requires that weight be lifted or force be exerted as reflected below.Amount of TimeUnder 1/3To OverNone 1/3 2/3 2/3Upto10pounds -______-______-______-__x___-Upto25pounds -______-__x___-______-______-Upto50pounds -______-__x___-______-______-Upto100pounds -___x _ -__ __-______-______-Morethan100pounds -___x__-______-______-______-WORK ENVIRONMENT:Cold Temperature:
