Soft Surroundings is searching for an Assistant/Associate Designer for Knits and Sweaters for our St. Louis headquarters. Responsibilities: Own fabric/trim selection, sketches and development for the Knits/ Sweater category Support design team in design tasks Maintain design sketch boards Assist with importing images and data into PLM program Own department shipping process Track design development fabric and sample development Assist with administrative tasks Support team in meeting omni calendar expectations Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop 1 to 2 years apparel design is a plus Advanced knowledge of design sketching and garment details Outstanding interpersonal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills Understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook , Excel Job Posted by ApplicantPro
