CNC Grinder - Hemel Hempstead - £18/hr + overtime 1.5x You will be part of a great team, working within a modern and clean environment, producing high precision parts and components for the Aerospace industry. The primary focus of this role is to undertake a programming/setting/operating function within the CNC Grinding department. Responsibilities: Able to program and set effectively to optimise cycle times. The primary focus of this role is to undertake a programming/setting/operating function within the CNC Grinding department. Responsibilities: Able to program and set effectively to optimise cycle times. Be aware of tooling available and utilise accordingly. Program and set machine within allocated time or improve where possible. Ensure component submitted for first off inspection meets drawing requirements first time. Where practical, pre-set/program ready for next job. Requirements: Experience with programming, setting and operating Studer CNC Grinders and manual machines. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment. A good standard of general education with basic computer and numerical skills. Astute attention to detail with steady hand-eye coordination. Good communications skills written & verbal. Ability to work to tight tolerances without supervision.
