Job title: Mechanical Assembly Fitter Reference: E112965 Location: St Helens Duration: Permanent Start date: ASAP Salary: To £27,000 - £30,000 pa Job title: Mechanical Assembly Fitter Reference: E112965Location: St Helens Duration: Permanent Start date: ASAPSalary: To £27,000 - £30,000 pa Working for this established Manufacturer in St Helens as a Mechanical Assembly Fitter you will Assemble and test products using written processes, specifications and drawings Capture all required data / information written and digital to facilitate traceability Report any deficiencies in products, materials, and processes Ensure good housekeeping practices at all times by maintaining clean and safe working / common areas Ensure all equipment e. g. gauges and tooling being used is within calibration and to report deficiencies / defects Be flexible within the Production Team to support different assembly and test processes when required Candidates will need to the following City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent time served / apprentice trained Fitter. Engineering requirements to assemble components to quality products. Production assembly and engineering background. Ability to follow written processes, specifications, and drawings. Ability to problem solve. Prepared to work overtime to reach targets and meet deadlines. Capacity to multi-task and appropriately prioritise and manage time. Able to interact directly with Company personnel at all levels / suppliers to communicate issues.
