My Client who are a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced General Manager to join their team. This main purpose of this role will be to oversee the day-to-day operations. General Manager Requirements: The Client is looking for a hands-on manager with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure that all manufactured goods comply with the Company’s quality standards and requirements. Experience managing material resources, to ensure production targets and objectives are achieved. At least 5 years in a Senior Production Leadership role. Experienced Negotiator Production planning/ Supply chain management experience is required. A solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing. Excel and Word proficiency are essential Knowledge of ERP/MRP/Microsoft D365 Systems. Experience of implementing stock control procedures and KPI reporting. General Manager Duties: Co-ordinate the day to day running of the above departments to ensure flow or orders thought the factory. Issuing of production programmes. Control of quality in these departments. Liaise with other Senior Managers and/or customers regarding technical queries. Liaise with other Senior Managers regarding production planning to maintain stock levels or to meet specific customers’ orders. Assist in the Recruitment and supervision of staff for the above areas. Liaise with other Senior Managers regarding complaints from customers concerning quality or other problems. Ensuring that all staff work within the company’s Health & Safety and other policies. Help.
