We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Project Officer, on a 3- month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Responsibilities: Create, manage and maintain databases relevant to the Property Services Programme Team, the Training Facility Manager and the wider repairs service to carry out administrative duties in the most efficient and effective manner. Assist with the timely processing of payments made by the programme team and the Training Facility Manager and ensuring the accurate recording of financial information to assist the Property Services Programme Manager with the monitoring and forecasting of budgets. To work with heads of service and service managers in a constructive manner to ensure proposed arrangements meet the needs of all customers and take on board the concerns of all stakeholders. To present to key stakeholders when necessary. To undertake research and collect benchmarking information to identify good practice from elsewhere. To undertake other duties commensurate to the grade of the post. To use and assist others in the use of information technology systems to carry out duties in the most efficient and effective manner. Qualifications: Pass grade in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent level qualifications Experience of working within a busy office environment Experience of providing support to projects Experience of communicating confidently with managers and colleagues in writing and in person Experience of setting up and maintaining robust and accurate office systems.
