Contract type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed-term until 31/08/24 Location: Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre Salary: up to £35,251.90 per annum (FTE)Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre is recruiting a Mechanical Engineering Tutor to join the existing teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching modules in Mechanical Engineering to students on university preparation programmes offered by the Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative tutor. The right candidate will have a natural ability to motivate students and deliver high-quality teaching as well as carry out relevant pastoral functions. You will enjoy working with international students, be performance driven and be able to work co-operatively and flexibly with other colleagues within the centre and across the network. We are looking for a patient tutor who is committed to providing an interesting and effective blended learning experience to our students. ABOUT THE ROLE Join our innovative team dedicated to delivering exceptional education to international students. As a key member of our faculty, you will: Deliver high-quality teaching to diverse groups of international students. Act as a Module Leader, coordinating a team of tutors and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Create and update engaging teaching materials to enhance the learning experience. Implement innovative enhancement and enrichment activities both in and out of the classroom. Maintain accurate progression tracking and student performance data. Actively promote the use of differentiation and technology-enhanced learning.
