As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager enthusiastic experienced Project Manager to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in manufacturing. This role is primarily responsible for the coordination of assigned projects through our New Product Introduction (NPI) system and Change Management (CM). This role will liaise with other departments (including Sales, Engineering, Production, Procurement and Quality) to ensure a smooth and timely launch of products. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire product realization cycle starting from development, through proto, Pilot and Launch. They will also manage changes that may occur within this introduction process or in production. This position reports to the PMO Manager. What you will be doing: Manage projects based on time, risk, and budgets through our NPI and Change Management processes Communicate with customers to provide project status updates as required Accountable for metrics including on-time submission of customer requirements for product launch (Design Review, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), packing, volume ramp, etc. ) Assign teams, and responsibilities, backss resources/capacities, identify constraints and ensure accountability Flag risk and develop risk mitigation or action plans Maintain fiscal responsibility with commercial groups by having project budgets.
