Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Manager to oversee our food manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities to ensure the efficient and safe production of our food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and a proven track record of success in managing production teams and processes.Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure on-time deliverySupervise and lead production teams, including hiring, training, and performance managementEnsure that production meets quality and food safety standards, including adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA)Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectivenessCollaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth production flowManage inventory levels to ensure that raw materials and finished products are available for production and shipmentPrepare and maintain production reports and records to track progress and performanceImplement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employeesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, business administration, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial roleStrong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory requirementsExcellent leadership and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software
