SCHEDULE: Full-time ; Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. With rotating late nights until 6:15 pm. For an average of 40 hours/week. SCOPE: Handles daily input and processing of payment related information including but not limited to, exception items, wire transfers, ACH, debit cards, credit cards, and system application requests for the products and services offered by the bank. Individual will have a thorough knowledge of all products and services in order to perform tasks independently with little direction from their supervisor and to be able to complete tasks successfully. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Daily Processing: (75%) Complete all processing of applications and maintenance of the products and services the bank offers, included but not limited to: Process incoming and outgoing Domestic and International wires. Process incoming and outgoing ACH files. Process credit card payments, balance transfers, charge offs, new card orders, maintenance, check back, adverse action, and daily balancing for our Hills Bank Credit Cards. Complete processing for lock box and branch capture items. Complete maintenance, check back and ordering of Debit Cards. Review and process incoming mobile deposits. Review and validate files coming into Image Centre to ensure processing throughout the day. Process and validate inclearing cash letters received. Handling and distribution of all Instant Issue Debit Card, ATM Card and Gift Card stock for the branches. Balancing and maintaining stock in our Card Wizard program for Instant Issue cards. Manage daily reports to check back that maintenance was performed in 3rd party sites. Assist with the daily balancing of various GLs within our area and other areas of the bank. Check back and processing of all closed transactional accounts and products. Process commercial account analysis items. Reviewing and correcting credit bureau data. Working with various compliance reports to ensure that we are meeting regulations. Help identify and resolve ATM offages Manage the CRM queue to ensure prompt completion of work. Review non post items and make necessary decisions on whether to pay or return. Review stop suspects to determine if items should be paid or returned. Review new and/or updated stop payments for accuracy. Process check adjustments per customer request or from correspondent bank and make necessary changes. Review ACH returns and corrections. Process incoming return items. Process large item return notices in the Federal Reserve. Assist with preparation of paperwork and documentation for onsite consultations Process initial & annual self-assessment questionnaires completed by new and existing commercial customers relating to the commercial products listed below: ACH Origination Direct Merchant Wire Transfers Support Management: (20%) Provide assistance to co-workers when needed. Ensure prompt and courteous response to customer inquiries. Provide maintenance of products on internal and hosted systems. Participate in testing of banking systems for upgrades, implementations, and routine review. Other Duties: (5%) Maintain educational and professional expertise through attendance at job-related seminars, conferences, and workshops. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree (A.A.) from a community college or technical school, or 2-5 years customer service and banking experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be flexible, take initiative, project a high level of enthusiasm, make decisions, accept responsibility, have the ability to work independently, and able to accept feedback and consider the opinions of others. This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills, communications skills, as well as utilization of office equipment.
