Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Summary Description The position requires a highly skilled full stack engineer that will continue building and scaling our proprietary software systems to support the non-emergency medical transportation industry. The selected candidate will learn existing systems, add new releases, and launch and maintain new full stack Java/JavaScript/SQL software environments, including Angular JS, AWS, and API integrations. A candidate with specific experience in mapping, geocoding, SMS, or telephony technologies is a plus. The position will challenge a person to solve complex computing and UX problems alongside a national team while working remotely. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Learn existing systems including applications, databases, security, geocoding, mapping, SMS, telephony and other custom API integrations, and the applied business rules. Work with various teams to Alpha/Beta test various small to large projects Attend IT meetings for project updates, problem solving, code review, and IT tickets. Create, launch & maintain full stack Java/JavaScript/SQL software projects as lead developer Provide analysis to verify and test that systems are optimized to their full potential. Create custom reporting summarizing key metrics & trends to team members and management. Effectively prioritize and project manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative, and work independently with collaborators to meet deadlines. Drive results and leverage past experiences to improve the IT team and related processes. Availability to work off hours Other duties may be assigned that require dedication, flexibility, and collaboration. Education & Training Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, and/or comparable years of experience. SQL/Java/JavaScript/AngularJS Certifications. Technical testing will be required in one or all categories: SQL, Java, Java Script, Angular JS. Knowledge and Experience A minimum of 5+ years experience creating and launching full stack Java/JavaScript/SQL enviroinments, including Angular JS, AWS, and API integrations. Minimum 7+ years software development experience Familiarity with Cloud Services. Experience in small/mid-size/entrepreneurial company preferred. Self-starter and creative team player. Experience working as a liaison with technical and non-technical individuals. Proficient in verbal and written communication skills. Strong quantative skills, attention to detail, and high aptitude for problem solving. Working Conditions · Office and/or remote setting.
