Under the general direction of the facility Director of Nursing, provides professional nursing care to residents following established policies and procedures of the facility. Assists in management and supervision of the nursing unit. Charts and makes observations. Oversees and directs the C.N.A.s in their day-to day assignments. Answers questions from residents, responsible parties and other personnel. Oversees use of supplies and equipment. Performs job duties in accordance with OPMC's Core Values and Core Behaviors.Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Licensure/ Certification: Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Hawaii required. CPR and First Aide required.Field of Expertise: Experience in geriatrics and current nursing standards of practice preferred.
