Are you ready to be a part of an industrial revolution? Norsk Titanium is the world's first FAA certified, OEM-qualified additive manufacturer of structural titanium parts for the aerospace industry. We are expanding our first global manufacturing operation and are looking for a Quality Engineer. As our Quality Engineer , you will be responsible for: Provide quality engineering oversight and support of parts produced and delivered from Plattsburgh facilities Participating in and potentially lead Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations in Operations . Assist with implementation of Root Cause/Corrective actions Identifying gaps in the Quality Management System. Propose, prepare and update QMS documents to close gaps Assisting in system approvals of the QMS, assuring compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 and customer requirements Supporting Material Review Board activities. Investigating and resolving non-conformances caused during the manufacturing process. Performing internal and supplier quality audits Supporting management reviews and corrective action board (CAB) Initiating projects with process engineering for repetitive non-conformances or turn-backs Training and qualifying other employees in quality control tasks Proposing and implementing improvements to increase profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety,etc. Adhere to and promotes applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules & Regulations and SecurityGuidelines Other duties and responsibilities as required for the successful operation of business Who you are: Quality engineering skills and minimum 5 years' industry experience Relevant technical education at a Bachelor's or Master's degree level Knowledge/experience with quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001 Experience with lean manufacturing for aerospace or automotive industries Experience with material testing and inspection Knowledge and experience in Supplier Quality Norsk Titanium is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our organization.
