AAMCI is seeking a compassionate and caring person for our Resident Service Coordinator position at a 56-unit elderly property located in Alderson WV. 20 hours per week, $17.50-$18.25 per hour The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive. AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Schedule, plan, and co-ordinate programs of resident services. Obtain resident assistance and input as frequently as possible. Acknowledgement of resident birthdays Programs organized by this position: Onsite visits of health care providers for screenings Onsite food commodities organization Occasional onsite visits from health & beauty care providers Occasional visits from financial planning advisers Onsite religious and devotional services Ongoing crafts, puzzles, board games Onsite exercise program and mental health awareness program Regular trips to shopping facilities Occasional trips to health care providers and other service providers Qualifications necessary for success: Background in Social Services, community services or related field (Preferred) Experience with work with elderly, and/or physically and mentally challenged College degree (Preferred) Reliable transportation Benefits also include Paid Time Off .
