Summary of Responsibilities: Under the general direction of the On-Call Emergency Delegate Supervisor, this person provides Emergency Mental Health Delegate Services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in Mifflin County. This position provides On-Call Emergency Mental Health Services on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Services are provided on a flexible rotating staffing schedule. Services are provided in accordance with all existing policies, procedures, and regulations and in accord with the mission and values of the company. Essential Functions: Engage with community members Coordinate inpatient care Coordinate with emergency services Complete all required documentation Coordinate with local crisis providers Coordinate with local hospitals Advocate for access to the best care available Advise individuals of their rights Personal Characteristics: Independent, Tech-Savvy, Responsive, Ethical, Organized, Honest, Loyal to SAM Values, Collaborator, Innovative, Kind, Team Builder, Active Listener, Life-Long Learner, Trustworthy, & Motivated Education and Experience: High School Diploma with one year of experience working in the human service field. Employment Requirements: Automobile and Valid Insurance, Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check, Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Social Security Card, Immigration and Naturalization (I-9), Drug Screening Clearance Working Conditions: Prolonged periods working on a computer in an open office environment or community, comfortable communicating through virtual technology, daily travel in local county area(s) to various provider and consumer locations, work will require evening and weekend hours and during adverse weather conditions, must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
