Mitigation Senior Project Manager

POSITION PURPOSE A Mitigation Senior Project Manager will work with the Operation Manager(s), and Project Manager(s) to quality control all projects assigned and ensure the business aspects of the projects are timely, accurate, efficient, and on budget. RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: This is a field position that will require Project Management of large, unusual, or high priority projects or any project deemed necessary by First Onsite management. Assist and communicate with the Operations Manager. Directly supervise Projects Managers, Project Supervisors, Assistant Project Managers, Production Technicians and as assigned by the Operations Managers to include, but not limited to, approval of weekly time/expenses, quarterly reviews, & annual reviews. Daily dispatch and scheduling responsibilities to include, but not limited to production, project management, vendors and as needed for projects. Prepare and/or manage reports, documentations and other job-related paperwork for Operations Managers, Project Managers, Project Directors and Leadership positions as directed. Work with Project Managers to understand, evaluate and execute the Scope of Work. Responsible for notifying Operations Manager when there is risk of a project not meeting expected budget, gross profit margin and/or schedule. Assist Project managers in soliciting bids, estimates, scopes & coordinating subcontractors to perform work. Assists the Project Managers with scheduling the work of production and subs to accomplish the Scope of Work. Evaluates the need for and manage Change Orders to owners and subcontractors. Research steps for permitting if necessary and arrange for permits. Follow and enforce all policies / procedures / regulations as dictated by First Onsite, state, and federal entities. Travel to job sites as needed to verify image, efficiency, and adherence to scope / policies / procedures/ safety. Teach & train in-house personnel to First Onsite standards. Teach & train in-house personnel to Industry standard practices. Maintain availability 24/7 via phone for questions / answers / new projects. .Fill in where necessary when additional responsibilities / tasks need to be completed. Work Place Safety: Adhere to and mandate safety practices to include, but not limited to, First Onsite safety protocols and OSHA. Lead by example, adhering to First Onsite's business practices, standard operating procedures and Industry Standards. QUALIFICATIONS: Technical Qualifications : Computer literate; MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Outlook (Email), Xactimate. Knowledge of local, state and federal code application and determination of code requirements. Knowledge of industry best practices and procedures. Knowledge of estimating, budgeting and cost control. Ability to generate Time and Materials estimating and billing. Ability to generate Unit Cost estimating and billing. Knowledge of general construction, commercial and residential. Behavioral Qualifications : Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work. Ability to set and monitor goals. Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Perform in a way that best represents the standards and interests of the company. Have high standards of professional conduct with clients, subs, and in-house. Excellent problem-solving capabilities. Ability to lead a team with accountability and respect Experience : Minimum 5 years' experience in the Restoration Industry, with experience/knowledge in water, flood, fire, smoke, mold, and asbestos remediation PREFERENCES: Bachelor's degree, preferred Crisis management skills. Conflict resolution abilities SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Position is NOT 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday - We operate in Emergency Services Travel will be required.
