LSI is seeking a full time Intake Specialist for our Shelter and CWES (Child Welfare Emergency Services) programs on the Waverly campus. This intake specialist will coordinate and supervise referrals and intake requests for Shelter/CWES. Will act as first point of contact by answering referral phone calls and respond to inquiries and direct the customer to the best service that will meet the needs of the child/family. They will also work as a member of the residential shelter team to provide a variety of administrative duties such as creating files and requesting information to ensure file is complete and meets all agency and licensing requirements. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of 3 years experience working in an administrative/customer service capacity.This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record, and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.LSI offers a competitive salary and benefit package including paid time off, health, dental, life, and vision insurance, and 401(k).
