In this role you will: The admissions manager will supervise the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Department at the Macon-Bibb location. Managers ensure proper policies and procedures are followed in regards to safety and organizational best practices. The Admissions Manager will monitor staff schedules and ensure proper coverage in all designated areas and maximize the number of individuals able to receive access to River Edge services. The Admissions Manager will be responsible for coordinating with the Human Resources department to recruit and staff all vacant positions in the admissions department. The manager will coordinate and provide training to all new-hires and ongoing professional development and training for staff. Managers also provide monthly supervision as appropriate, conduct routine staff meetings, and attend organizational leadership meetings. Provide oversight and supervision to all admissions department staff including masters level clinicians, care coordinators, nurses, and administrative support staff. Ensure appropriate clinical decisions are made regarding best practice and appropriate referrals for client services. Monitors data collection and outcomes measures including Key Performance Indicators and CCBHC requirements. Analyzes available data and metrics to make data informed decisions about departmental processes. Ensures departmental compliance with all regulatory requirements for CARF, DBHDD, HFR, CMS, SAMHSA, and other local, state, and federal requirements. Provides training and coaching to staff as needed. Ensures adequate service delivery for all individuals served. Addresses concerns from any individuals served, families, or visitors. Facilitates regular departmental staff meetings and ensures implementation of organizational best practices. Refers individuals served and families to internal and external resources to assist in recovery. Provide clinical consultation to referral resources, mentors, family members, and others to help support clients in their recovery. Ensure quality, up-to-date clinical records are maintained via our electronic medical record, including progress notes, treatment plan reviews, discharge planning, and outcomes. Maintain working knowledge of treatment agencies and programs and a list of resources that can be shared with clients. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing set standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations . Continually updates professional knowledge by maintaining licensure, participation in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations, etc. Remain in compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, including all of River Edge's policies and procedures and Quality Assurance Plan, DBHDD requirements, State Licensing standards, County Monitoring requirements, and managed care regulations. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support 1) culturally competent, recovery-based practices, 2) person centered planning as a shared decision-making process with the individual who defines his or her own life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path towards those goals, and 3) a trauma informed culture to aid consumers in the recovery process. You will need: COVID Vaccinated A minimum of a master's degree in a human services, license eligible field from an accredited college or university, (i.e., LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW). Demonstrate expertise and knowledge in mental health and substance abuse services and community resources. At least three years of post-master's experience, providing mental health and substance abuse treatment. Acceptable background check/drug screen Acceptable references Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of management or supervisory experience. Associate level or full clinical licensure strongly preferred.
