Involves clients and family to the extent possible and clinically indicated in all treatment decisions. Actively work toward completing their post-graduate education. Participate in all required and requested training and supervision processes established by clinical supervisor, including the initial training and orientation to the Family Counseling Program. Keep current on all counseling policies and procedures, implementing them as stated in the Counseling Program Manual and as directed by clinical supervisor. Accurately record all clinical activity for billing/credit service purposes. Maintains all official client records by utilizing and completing all required agency administrative and Family Counseling Program forms as per the Family Counseling Program record keeping policy. Assess, collect and/or bill for fees for clients utilizing the United Way sliding fee scale in compliance with stated program policy. Interact with clinical supervisor and office therapists in intake and assignment of new cases. Meet for a minimum of one hour weekly, or as otherwise determined, with clinical supervisor, and attend group supervision meetings and staff meetings as directed. Prepare for supervision meetings as prescribed by clinical supervisor, utilize video tapes whenever possible. Meets the direct service requirements of their degree program Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other human service field (Required) Human Service Position Experience (preferred) Clinical licensure (preferred) Completion of DCFS criminal background check (Required) Must be at least 21 years of age, obtain an insured vehicle, clean driving record, and three years driving record with a valid driver's license For information on The Center for Youth and Family Solutions, including more information on employee benefits and our company culture, visit our website at https://www.cyfsolutions.org/ or check out our video campaign here .
