Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) is responsible for overseeing compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensuring the operation is meeting client expectations at all levels. Thorough and observant with a keen eye for detail, Quality Assurance Manager works closely with the frontline and administrative teams to ensure all continuous improvement objectives are met through a combination of oversight and internal audits. They must fully understand the SOP have a sense of responsibility towards the client as well as the operation. What's in it for you? Quality Assurance Infiltration Tests- Schedule, implement and administer remedial training as needed Monthly KPI Reports Liaison with all primary security line partners Terminal Audits- oversight on various terminal audits Pass Office Manager Scheduling and coverage with the employees Training- create and train new employees within the pass office Create and request profiles for new employee on different systems Canada RAIC applications approval Policy reviews and create/implement SOP’s and workplace guidelines Online LMS systems- create and assign training courses. Troubleshoot program when required Administration Assist Edmonton branch with compiling payroll information. Liase between YEG and Edmonton branch. Shared additional duties as required for YEG staff Qualifications and Competencies to become a Quality Assurance Manager in Edmonton Previous experience in aviation industry preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook, in particular) Excellent written, verbal and communication skills Able to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
