The company operate in a clean modern working environment and the team is made up of loyal and long serving designers and technicians with a willingness to share their specialised knowledge. Duties of the 2D and 3D CAD Technician: Create detailed CAD drawings and designs using software such as Auto CAD, and Solid Works. Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specification. Review and interpret technical drawings for manufacture. Make necessary modifications to existing drawings based on project changes or client feedback. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all CAD drawings and designs. Maintain organized files and documentation for easy retrieval and reference. Production of digital parts ready for manufacture. Programming and operating CNC machines including Laser Cutters Fibre and CO2, CNC Routers and 3D Printers. Recording modifications and a log of digital models. Key requirements for the 2D and 3D CAD Technician: Preferably have at least 6-month experience in 3D CAD Designer roles.
