Contract – Permanent Medi Talent are currently recruiting for an experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse to work for our client at a modern Private Hospital based in Birmingham– taking a focus on ophthalmic surgery care. You will be working in an affluent private hospital, taking lead of other healthcare professionals within your department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional surgical assistance and maintaining a sterile environment during ophthalmic surgeries. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room and surgical instruments for ophthalmic procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly sterilised. You will be assisting the ophthalmic surgeon by passing instruments and supplies during surgery, anticipating their needs and ensuring efficient workflow. As a Lead role, you will be required to act as a role model to others, helping to train mor junior members. You will also work with other management staff to aid the smooth running of your department and assist in decision making. What our client is looking for: Valid NMC/HCPC Pin Qualification in Ophthalmology or Peri Operative care A good team player Experience within Ophthalmic care is essential Experience Theatre Practitioner Being organised Problem Solving At least 1 year of either senior or lead experience Benefits on offer: 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options Reward platform - discount and.
