Position Details: Hours: 37.5 per week Location: London/Remote Occasional need for meetings Rate: £38.93 - £48.00 PAYE per hour Paid weekly by an umbrella company Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic and operational leadership in business continuity/emergency planning, including policy and procedure development. Compile an annual EPRR workplan, incorporating a training and exercising program for continual improvement and best practice within EPRR. Develop strategies for each area of activity, monitor progress against the workplan, and address identified gaps through established governance arrangements. Collaborate with Lead EPRR officers in partner Trusts to develop risk-based contingencies for service continuity. Oversee the ongoing development, review, and implementation of Business Continuity Management Policy in compliance with NHS England’s Core Standards for EPRR and ISO:22301. Engage with Directors, Senior Managers, and staff to ensure partner Trusts achieve compliance against EPRR Core Standards. Establish and lead a central NWLPS EPRR Committee reporting to NWLPS SSB. Interpret national and regional EPRR guidance to inform policies and plans. Serve as the Single Point of Contact SPOC for the receipt and dissemination of information during incidents.
