SQL and/or data visualisation tools and/or ETL tools e. g. To be successful in this role you will have; Previous experience with data governance tools Data360 and Collibra are highly regarded Ideally, experience with programming languages eg. SQL and/or data visualisation tools and/or ETL tools e. g. SSISStrong knowledge of data governance frameworks and methodologies Ability to share knowledge and demonstrate teamwork Accountability and the ability to work autonomously to agreed deadlines Industry knowledge of Financial Services / Life Insurance is highly regarded Key Accountabilities Creating and conducting governance processes to measure data management and data quality maturity across various domains Conducting data profiling and analysis of existing datasets to identify and categorise critical data elements and sensitive data Being the system expert and primary user of Data Governance Dashboard and Data Quality Tools Working with stakeholders to understand, prioritise and document business data definition catalogue, data quality, data governance requirements, processes and technical needs Assisting with compliance activities such as data protection, data privacy and data retention.
