Position Overview Under the general direction of the Director, Provincial Health Contact Center (PHCC), the incumbent is responsible for providing administrative support to the Director and the staff at the PHCC. The incumbent must be able to act independently, use own initiative, accept responsibility and use good judgment in making decisions. Experience 3-5 years administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of ESP and SAP preferred. Demonstrated advanced proficiency in computer use and software with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, and Power Point), Share Point, Microsoft Publisher, Outlook, internet and email required. Experience recording and preparing minutes and agendas. Experience working with tele-triage software and IP telephony would be an asset. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12 Successful Completion of a recognized Administrative Assistant program Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Must be well organized and able to establish priorities to meet deadlines and adjust priorities to reflect changing requirements. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Must have excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
